Jabba the Ham..

So...This last weekend we celebrated Christmas with my Mom, Brother & SIL and Jim. I cooked the dinner which was quite a daunting task. I never realized how much work went into preparing a dinner as a child. I would just enjoy the fruits of my grandmother's labor and move on.
I made a ham (first time), green bean cassarole, sweet potato dish, homemade apple crumb & pumpkin pie and various sundry traditional dishes. Jim took the ham out of the oven and I uncovered it only to find.....this....

Which my brother pointed out closely resembles....this...

So...there ya have it...Jabba the Ham was born. Hilariously delicious.
Only me..(sigh)

Well I am still trying to figure out how to navigate this whole blog thing and I managed to delete my first post. Fantastic.
I can't seem to figure out how to post pics and videos from the iPad to the blog. I created a really neat slideshow with my iPad and can't get it to post here. Hmm..anywho, I'll continue cracking the code.
